Durch den kompakten Aufbau nimmt Snipe nur wenig Platz in Anspruch – ideal für die Montage auf dem Dach eines Wohnmobils.
Aber auch für mobile Einsätze, ohne feste Montage geeignet! (Mobiler Koffer incl.)
Auch das lästige Ausrichten an einem neuen Standort entfällt. Dank integriertem GPS-Modul und elektronisch gesteuertem Antrieb richtet sich die Antenne auf Knopfdruck automatisch aus. Sie empfangen selbst auf Reisen Ihr gewohntes TV-Programm, sofern der jeweilige Satellit erreichbar ist.
Trotz ihrer geringen Abmessungen bietet Snipe ein gutes Empfangsergebnis. Durch den dreischichtigen Antennenaufbau mit Wave-Guide-Horn-Array-Funktion wird die diffuse Reflexion des Satellitensignals weitgehend verhindert. Horizontal und vertikal polarisierte Signale werden voneinander getrennt und gebündelt auf den LNB geleitet. Das Resultat: eine hohe Signalstärke am LNB.
